Traditional Koi Fish Tattoo

I already have a lotus flower in the upper center of my back below my neck. There are Buddhist letters that I researched above my flower that reads "Brother's Keeper" in Tibetan. I designed the flower modeled after other images I had researched.

The Koi fish tattoo was drawn by Rick Brown from Golden Spiral Tattoo in Greensboro, NC modeled after a few images I had seen on the internet. He was really excited to do something traditional as girls today seem to want fish with eye lashes or mickey mouse inked on their ass.

It took two and a half hours to do, the largest tattoo I've gotten to date but it was a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to completing my back with some of the other 8 auspicious signs of Buddhism.
