Thai Buddhist Tattoo

Just after we'd finished, pretty sore!

This tattoo was done by Tony in Bangkok, it took three hours to complete. It's a tattoo of some important Thai proverbs (which I'm not going to translate as I don't want anyone stealing my tattoo!), next to which is a blue lotus (symbol of knowledge and the progression of the soul) and the Aum (the sound of the universe).

It's my favorite tattoo (along with my Frank Zappa one!) and I love having the opportunity to talk to people about is, as everyone who sees it for the first time always likes to ask what it means!
