Tattoo Representing Life Experience

This tattoo was the third one I had done at Ink and Dagger by artist Roy Lee Rowlett in Louisville, KY. It is one of five tattoos he has done on my so far.

The idea behind it is that it's a storm of my life and the darkness that I have experienced. For some, ravens represent darkness and death, but for me, it's all about the beauty of such evil. For me the only outlet for my anger and pain is tattoos and this one hurt like no other!

There are three ravens, one in full, one off in the distance, and one that is fading into the wind. A feather with blood and the quote "This too shall pass". The tattoo isn't quite finished since I'm going to have it turned into a half sleeve, but it's one of my favorites.

All in all I've invested over two hundred for it, three hours of work, and a lot of thought, time, and pain..
