I waited until the kids where grown up and didnt need my money anymore before i started getting inked. the last tattoo i got is on my left calf or a phoenix sitting on a mountain top kissing the sun. its about transformation.

And then on the back of the right leg i have the aum symbol over a lotus blossom. on both forearms i have the oceanic symbols for the yin/yang, the dolphin and the orca, one on each.

Then there are my half sleeves. the left one is generally a collection of smaller tattoos brought together which a fantastic background piece. the right one is a tribute to my grandchildren.

My granddaughter has a lady bug on a lily pad and my grandson has his name spread over three koi. there is also a memorial turtle for my little brother who passed away in 2004.

There is one more tat on my chest and it is of a bricked up heart with ribbons that say 'break this one bitch'.
