Old School Tattoos

I started to get tattooed back in 1976 and here and now in 2010 and I'm still getting work. I have an infinity towards and a great respect for the old master such as Ed Hardy, Bob Roberts, Mike Malone etc...

I don't quite know how much time was spent on my back, the design is really rather simple. I wanted something that from 20 feet away you could tell what is.

As a younger man I was fascinated by the flash designs that I saw in the local shops, at that time there were only a few as apposed to now where there are dozens here in my city.

The artist who designed and did the outline of my back piece was Craig Helmich formally of Island Avenue Tattoo. Craig as since relocated to Hawaii and the design is now being completed by one of my favorite artists, Z, owner of Z Spot Body Art Studio.
