This may explain her unique style and why she was drawn to fashion and make-up. She is definitely not the kind of chick you pass by on the street without checking out. In this short interview she lets us in on what tattoos mean to her and gives us a glimpse into her colorful life...
When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? I got my first tattoo when I was 18. I had been wanting one for sooo long and wanted to know what it felt like. I decided to get the little dead girl from the SQUEE comic, by Johnen Vasquez, that comes and visits Squee in the night. I am a big fan of comic art. Describe your tattoos and what they mean to you? Everyone want to express themselves by their appearance. This is another way to enhance your body. But unlike clothes and hair color, this is distinct to you. Your tattoos will be on your body forever. They are your markings that describe you and make you different from others. Your body is a huge canvas just waiting to be adorned! I think tattoos are a wonderful way of self expression and decoration. I also think everyone should get at least one tattoo, just to experience it. Give us the run down on your tattoo artists... I have had many tattoo artists through the years. I finally found the only one I want inking me. Jimmy Cumberland at Salvation Tattoo in Richmond, VA. He's amazing artist and knows his shit (best coloring). My ONLY piercer is Lynn at Red Dragon Tattoo in Richmond, Va Tell us about some of your creative endeavors? Currently I am working my little butt off pursuing my hairstylist career in NYC. I'm working at Fringe Salon in NYC. It's great being in a place in your life you know is only going to get better! I can't wait to see what the future holds in store for me. Break down a typical day in the life of Miss Prissy ... NYC is a great place to be. It has been wonderful experience for me. I meet so many people from all over the world here. I met the love of my life here too! My job brings me closer to great minds and artists every day. On my day off I enjoy exploring the city or even taking random excursions out of town when I get the chance. I do the day and let the day do me!! What are your major turn ons? People who are themselves, self confident, and fun to be with. I love someone who can make me laugh. I like to play and wrestle. I mean looks do help :) But I really enjoy getting to know someone before I get involved with them. Where do you like to kick it after dark? Well in my hometown I love to kick it with my girl April. We watch bad movies, drink beers, and talk shop. We have been friends since college and have matching shrunken head tattoos! She's the best!
