I didn't get tattoos to get noticed. my style has always gotten me attention (sometimes unwanted). however, i got my tattoos to show off my inner emotions and feelings.
sometimes i feel like a picture is more than words. actually, i feel that more than not. i was told also tattoos are a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling". my reply ...
at least i'll have something to talk about when i'm 80 years old
it's hard to imagine being ashamed of my beautiful ink-work. i get all of my ink done by Hellbound Honey, based in Cathedral City, CA.
My left arm is entirely dedicated to Mark Ryden's meat show (art show) that he did a few years back. it is incredibly hard to do portraits, and in color none the less. but she has done such a wonderful job.
i also go to tattoo conventions with her and work the booth to encourage others to do tribute pieces, rather than just that simple butterfly.
I'm a designer by trade, so i'm pretty good at picking out tattoos for other people and collaging works etc. . .
I'm a bit of an eccentric. i blame it on being a G e m i n i . . . the Twin. the ever restless, the girl who can't make up her mind...but when i do, watch out!
