Independent Spirit / Heart / Soul / Mind. Was done at Wildfire tattoo's in Cape Town, South Africa. www.tattoo.co.za

Got this tattoo done because it has so much meaning for me and for how i feel about my life now. when i left South Africa end of June 2007 i was not sure what awaited me out there.. was going to go work in the middle east, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In the beginning it was difficult.. getting used to the new surrounds, not being able to speak the native language etc etc and not having any friends... went like that for about 3 months. then everything changed.. started making friends and fitting in.

I reached a point where i felt totally INDEPENDENT, didn't need anyone to do anything for me... my mind was free, my heart was free and so also my spirit. Thats what inspired me to get this tattoo done. This was also my 1st ink and got it done on 24 December 2007.
