Japanese Koi Fish Tattoo

Black, shaded koi with white highlights on my right arm, inside my elbow. It took about three hours to complete and was done at 'Bills Custom Tattoos' on Oxford St in Sydney, Australia. The artist was a Czech girl whose name I have unfortunately forgotten.

I had spent a few months looking for a good koi design. A friend told me to check Bills Custom out and when I told the artist I was looking for a koi she showed me this design. It was exactly what I wanted and I got it done there and then. Its roughly four years old and still looks great. I especially like the white in the waves and fins.
