Floral Lily/Dragonfly Tattoo

I had this done the day I turned 18 as a birthday present from my parents. The pictures themselves are flash but customized in position by myself.

The tribal and the dragonflies where out of one page, two of the lilies another and then the last lily from another design. Customized flash I call it.

In whole the design took about 4 and a half hours to complete with 2 weeks to heal in between each sitting.

I had numbing cream applied on my first booking but found that it stopped working within half an hour so stopped using it. The pain for me is described as a very long wasp sting.

It did hurt particularly since I'm not a large girl and the design was placed mainly on my ribs. My tattooist said he could feel my ribs vibrating through the needle, yeowch!

At the end I was incredibly happy with the results and don't regret a moment of it, it was the best 18th birthday present I could have gotten.
