i started off just getting a collection of tattoos that i liked and that meant something in the larger scheme of my life. got those done at Yonge Street Tattoos, by Thor, Triple X, Pauline, and Mike. then found an artist who did the background (Japanese style wind water and earth) Alex from 'New Age Tattoo and Piercing'.
