This is a Celtic ferret I want to get as a tattoo. I am a 50 year old woman who has never had a tattoo before and the tattooist has told me that I need to make the knotwork simpler because the black ink will eventually just bleed together and the design will disappear. I know this is fine detail for a tattoo measuring only about 6 inches across, but I have seen very intricate designs on tattoos. Any suggestions?
